  • Horseback Riding - Experience a memorable ride, where our experienced wranglers help assign you to your own trusty horse, chosen from our ranch herd, to match your interest and ability. This new friend is yours for the length of your stay! Wander with your friend through the spectacular Absaroka Mountains, where you can explore the incredibly scenic mountains, valleys, and streams the Crow and Shoshone Indians once did. You can also have you ride within feet of historic Mummy Cave where Mummy Joe was buried in 720 A.D. Other unique trails include lunch prepared at the famous Blackwater Fireman's Memorial, and you can also enjoy breakfast cooked over an open fire in a truly spectacular mountain setting.
  • Whitewater Rafting - Experience a fun-filled rafting adventure for the whole family at the Shoshone River! There are exciting rapids waiting on you, such as Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse, Colter's Falls. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled as you float through a Golen Eagle's nesting area. It's a great unique way to spend an afternoon together, making memories to last a lifetime.
  • Fly Fishing - With the Northfolk and Shoshone River right out our back door, you can enjoy fishing in an uncrowded and breathtaking setting. Catch Yellowstone cutthroat, rainbows, cuttbows, and brown trout. Brook Trout and Rocky mountain whitefish are found here too. The river is managed as a wild fishery, with all reproduction occuring naturally. The Norfolk and Shoshone river is a true gem for the seasoned fishermand and beginner alike. You're sure to have a memorable and fulfilling fishing experience.
  • Yellowstone National Park - Experience a tour of the most unique geological wonder in the world, Yellowstone National Park! It is renowned for it's spouting geysers, numerous hot springs, bubbling mud caldrons, breathtaking canyons, pristine rivers, majestic waterfalls, and beautiful mountain lakes. While on the tour, be on the lookout for any moose munching on willows, or a grizzly bear and her cubs enjoying the day. You might even be lucky enough to see a wolf pack in the distance or bald eagles soaring overhead. The creation of this park over a century ago is a remarkable indicator of how unique and magnificent Yellowstone, and the surrounding area, were perceived to be even then!
  • Old Trail Town - Take a step back in time when you visit Old Trail Town. History abounds in this old frontier town, and there's just simply too many sights to see here. The "Hole in the Wall" cabin, famous hideout for the "Hole in the Wall Gang", or the Rivers Saloon, frequented by Butch Cassidy, where he planned two different bank robberies with his gang.
  • Cody Nite Rodeo - Cody is known as the "Rodeo Capital of the World" and with good reason! Since the 1940's, the Cody Nite Rodeo has been the only nightly rodeo in the country. Watch in awe as cowboys, and cowgirls, are challenged by stock and events such as bareback riding, steer wrestling, tie down roping, saddle bronc riding, team roping, barrel racing, and the always anticipated bull riding!
  • Buffalo Bill Historical Center - Experience a truly memorable and enriching tour of the world famous Buffalo Bill historical center, considered the premier western museum in the country, and the second most visited attraction (behind Yellowstone National Park) in the greater Yellowstone region. Visitors of all ages will treasure a visit here, as there are five unique museums within the Buffalo Bill Historical Center.

The Dude Package

  • Sunday: Check-In and get acquainted with new friends and the surroundings of the ranch. Fish, hike, or enjoy a dip in our heated pool. Evening western barbeque, and meet all our wonderful staff!
  • Monday: Morning - Meet your horse for the week, riding instruction, morning and afternoon riding in the Shoshone National Forest. We often spot wildlife on our rides! Evening - Volleyball tournament where you dudes have a chance to beat our staff at Blackwater. Adult only fly-fishing instruction based on group size and availability.
  • Tuesday: We'll treat you to a trip with the most unique geological wonders in the world, Yellowstone National Park! You will be in awe of Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon, and all the wildlife viewed as it should be, in the Wild!
  • Wednesday: Morning - Breakfast cookout ride! Breakfast cooked over an open fire in a truly spectacular setting. Afternoon - Our popular Wine & Cheese ride to beautiful June Ridge. Evening - Strap on your dancing shoes and join us in the lodge for loads of fun!
  • Thursday: Enjoy Historic Cody! Explore Old Trail Town loaded with history from some of the West's most famous figures. Tour the world famous Buffalo Hill Historical Center, (five museums in one), a truly unforgettable experience for the whole family. After lunch explore some of Cody's unique stores and it's off to the Shoshone River for an adventurous rafting trip. Evening: Kids enjoy ping-pong & pool, *fly-fishing instruction for the adults, or cozy up by the evening fire.
  • Friday: Saddle Up...Today's ride takes you deep in to the Shoshone National Forest. This ride is truly spectacular! Enjoy lunch cooked over an open fire at the famous Blackwater Fireman's Memorial. Evening - Off we go to Cody's award-winning Rodeo!
  • Saturday: The morning ride takes you through western meadows along the beautiful Shoshone River. Afternoon is full of fun-filled activities including our famous Duck Race! Following our delicious steak dinner, join us at the bon-fire for an evening of singing, guest skits, stories and roasting marshmallows!
  • Sunday: Breakfast, lots of hugs and farewells to friends before departure.
